Pell, Axel Rudi - Circle of the Oath

Axel Rudi Pell - Circle of the OathAxel Rudi Pell, a man with a very impressive discography and live record. Yet I only knew him by name. But with his latest release, if I'm correct his 15th studio album in 23 years, I finally get to know his music. Circle of the Oath was a pleasant way to get to know Mr. Pell, as I must say I really enjoyed the album. A solid, heavy release, with a very good line up, including powerhouse drummer Mike Terrana (Rage, Taboo Voodoo). A powerful singer and of course amazing guitars, whether it be a heavy rocker or a true rock ballad. It is classic Heavy Metal, but very well done and absolutely recommended if you love that kind of music.
