Four years after their excellent debut album Flowing Portraits, Italian prog-metallers Soul Secret return to the stage with their sophomore release: Closer to Daylight. The new album brings a few changes in the line up, most notably a new singer. Once again the album closes with an epic track, featuring as guest vocalis, Mr. Arno Menses from Subsignal.
Listening to Closer to Daylight I hear a band that has grown since their debut album and prove that progressive metal is still very interesting to listen to.
